Now is an ideal time to establish a presence in the market and get ahead of the coming building boom.
Historically, there has not been a lot of opportunity for home builders to have a consistent supply of lots in the Moab area. The Balanced Rock development is your chance to take down multiple lots each year in a master planned community with an estimated 4-5 year build-out. (We’re also working on other developments in the community and would like to work with you as those lots become available.)
Additionally, there will be a lot of opportunity as the new “South Valley” city is built out, where approximately 4,100 residences, plus commercial and civic infrastructure is planned. (Please see our Future City page to learn more about the city that is planned for Spanish Valley.)
We expect that demand for finished homes will be high, as there is pent-up demand for legally-approved short term/vacation rental properties in the area. Moab City and Grand County are averse to approving new projects with overnight accommodations zoning, which means that Balanced Rock (with its approved zoning) is ideally suited to fill this market demand.

Lodge
We are also looking for a hotel/lodge developer to build on the approved lodge site. It is a 5-acre site that is approved for up to 130 rooms.
